Boak not good enough?

Former club champion Kane Cornes says Travis Boak isn’t in Port’s best team.

Boak is Port Adelaide’s captain, but Cornes thinks Ollie Wines is going to take the role in the years to come.

“If you ask me, I think he still will captain the club (in 2018). But Ollie Wines, if it’s not this year, it’ll be next year.”

“You can’t question his character and his work ethic … but he’s certainly not in the starting midfield, he wasn’t last year, he played a lot of footy across half-forward”. Kane said.

Travis has captained the power for 5 seasons, and will turn 30 years old next year.

After Port Adelaide’s busy trade period Kane believes he has been pushed down the talent list, after the Power acquired Rockliff, Motlop, and Watts.
